Webb City gets first new hotel in decades

Webb City got a new hotel for the first time in several decades, the Joplin Globe reports.

Sleep Inn & Suites Webb City by Choice Hotels held a soft opening late last week. The hotel is 98% complete.

Owners Jeremy and Christie Evans invested $6.5 million to build the hotel. It's located across from Centennial Park, a 300-acre retail and commercial development district.
