The Kansas City Business Journal compiled a report on the industries that received the most Paycheck Protection Program loans in the city.
No. 1 was construction companies, which collectively were issued 684 PPP loans each exceeding $150,000.
Professional, scientific and technical service companies were the No. 2 loan recipients, with 610, according to Small Business Administration data disclosed this week.
