Will leaves under the FFCRA be available in 2021?

The stimulus bill approved by Congress did not extend mandatory paid leave benefits under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act. It did extend tax credits provided for under the FFCRA. FFCRA leave has sunset as of December 31, 2020 but employers who provide leave under the original provisions of the FFCRA may be able to qualify for tax credits through March 2021.
