Project description: Part of the $168 million bond issue dubbed Prop S, Springfield Public Schools’ Adah Fulbright Early Childhood Center will serve up to 250 preschool students. The project is a two-story education center that includes 12 classrooms, a safe room, teacher and administrative offices, and a covered outdoor play area. The SPS Board of Education named the school after longtime educator Adah Fulbright, who taught children in segregated schools, according to the SPS website. Paragon Architecture LLC and Sapp Design Associates Architects PC are the project architects. Engineering work is by Olsson Inc., civil; Toth and Associates Inc., structural; and Interpres Building Solutions LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
