YOUR BUSINESS AUTHORITY

Women seem to have a special ability to build connections with people, and I feel this can be an advantage for female leaders. A successful company is built on solid relationships and trust, both internally and within the community.
Within the company, I believe my role as a leader is to encourage my staff, empowering them to make decisions with my support and guidance. My number one piece of advice is to have a good support system. Find advisers you trust and hire people with both talent and good character. Trust your team. I am proud to say that 28 of our 35 branch offices are led by women who are excellent at building trust with both job seekers and client companies.
Connecting with the community is vital. At Penmac, “We Place People First” is more than just a motto—we truly care about people. As president, it is part of my duties to consider community involvement, but I have chosen to make it a priority personally and professionally.
While it is good business to show you care about your community, we truly enjoy helping to improve people’s lives. This philosophy permeates throughout the company. Our employees are encouraged to personally volunteer their time and share what they can financially.
Springfield has been so supportive of Penmac as a business and we love giving back to our community.
