Project description: The Missouri National Guard’s Aviation Classification Repair Activity Depot in northwest Springfield is one of four facilities nationwide that maintains aircraft for the Army National Guard. Its Theater Aviation Sustainment Maintenance Group Readiness Center underway will allow for aviation logistics and maintenance support, as the AVCRAD also provides crewmember training and aviation flight maintenance training. The two-story building is designed with cubicle space, administrative offices and locker rooms. Sapp Design Associates Architects PC is the project architect, and Olsson Inc. is the civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer, as well as the landscape architect.
